Prompt templates
These are the prompts from the video, tidied into templates. Fill in the parts in [brackets] and paste them into Claude or ChatGPT.
Ideal customer profile (ICP)
I sell [product/service] for [price]. Describe my ideal customer: who they are, what problem makes them buy, what they tried before, why they'd pick me, where they spend time online, and the words they use for the problem. Be specific, not generic.
From the chapter Who really buys (3:19)
Messaging document
Create a document called [file name] and write a set of messages in it for my landing page copy. I sell [product/service] for [price]. Customer profile 1: [paste the first ICP] Customer profile 2: [paste the second ICP] For each profile, give me lots of different message options. Write each one in these six blocks: 1. Pain, in their words. 2. Who it's for. Call them out. 3. Why the last thing they tried failed. 4. Proof: people like them. 5. Fear killer: answer the worry before they ask. 6. One button.
From the chapter Messaging (8:17)
Rank the messages for my ICP
Here are my customer profiles: [paste your ICPs] Here are my messages: [paste the messages from your messaging document] Rank these messages for my ICP, best to worst. For each one, say which customer it is for and why it would or would not hit their pain.
From the chapter Messaging (8:17)
Simple website with the six blocks
Build me a simple online store for [product/service] at [price]. My customer is: [paste your ICP] My top message is: [paste your best ranked message] Put the message on the page in these six blocks, in this order: 1. Pain, in their words: [pain] 2. Who it's for: [who] 3. Why the last thing failed: [last thing failed] 4. Proof, people like them: [proof] 5. Fear killer: [answer to their worry] 6. One button: [button text]
From the chapter Website and ad creatives (10:03)
Ad creatives from your ranked messages
Here are my ranked messages for my ICP: [paste your ranked messages] Turn each message into [number] ad creative variations. Keep the core message the same in every variation. Change the angle, the hook and the design only.

Tracking checklist
From the second half of the video, so Meta can actually see your sales and learn from them.
- Use the Pixel and the Conversions API together, so your server tells Meta about the sale, not just the browser. 18:15
- Turn on deduplication: give every event an ID so Meta throws away the second copy of the same sale. 18:15
- Push your Event Match Quality up: send the email, phone, name and city with each sale, scrambled (hashed) first. 19:09
- Keep the click ID (fbclid) on your server the moment someone lands, and send it back with the sale. 19:09
- Send offline sales from your CRM, and optimise for the event that actually means money, not clicks or form fills. 21:20
- Check your real sales, not only Ads Manager. The attribution window hides late buyers. 22:55
- Health and wellness products: send the sale without the sensitive part. Check Events Manager for a restriction notice. 23:32
- Ask for consent from visitors in Europe and the UK, and filter bots out before anything goes to Meta. 23:32
