The 5 best WeltPixel alternatives in 2026

WeltPixel is a cheap, tidy way to send Shopify orders to your ad platforms. The question is what else those orders carry. We compared five WeltPixel alternatives on destinations, bots, consent, CRM sales and price.

The short answer

WeltPixel sends your Shopify orders to your ads. DataCops sends them too, and checks whether the visit behind each one was a real person.

  • DataCops: best for stores that want tracking you can trust. Server-side orders, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, a delivery log, and phone or CRM sales added.
  • Analyzify: best for Shopify brands that want analytics dashboards on top of tracking.
  • Elevar: best for larger Shopify Plus brands.
  • Littledata: best for GA4 and subscription tracking.
  • Trackify: best for small stores on a tight budget.

Most people look for a WeltPixel alternative because something feels off in the numbers, not because of the price. At $39 a month flat, WeltPixel is hard to beat on cost. The question is what goes into Meta with each order, and what never gets there.

Every Shopify tracking roundup counts destinations and compares prices. None of them ask whether the visit behind the purchase was a real shopper, or whether you had consent to send it. That is what this guide is about.

Is a Shopify tracking app enough?

A Shopify tracking app does one job: it takes your store events and sends them to the ad platforms from a server. That job matters. Ad blockers, Safari and express checkouts all cost you purchases in a browser pixel. WeltPixel fixes that, and so does DataCops, through its own Shopify app.

But sending the order is one slice of the chain. The ad platforms learn from everything you send them, including the add to carts and checkouts from bots, the visitors who never gave consent, and nothing at all about the sale you closed on the phone. A tracking app moves the events. It does not decide which ones deserve to go.

Think of tracking as a chain with five links. Each one can break on its own:

  1. Capture. Did the order get seen at all? A Shopify app fixes this.
  2. Consent. Were you allowed to send it? That needs a consent manager.
  3. Quality. Was the visit behind it a real person? That needs a bot verdict.
  4. Completeness. Did the phone sale get sent too? That needs your CRM.
  5. Proof. Can you see what was sent and why? That needs a delivery log.

WeltPixel is very good at link one. DataCops is built as the whole chain. The same paid order goes out server-side through its Shopify app. Around it sit a bot verdict with Real people only per platform, a built-in consent manager, a delivery log with the reason on every row, and offline stages by webhook for stores that sell on the phone.

You installed a tracking app. You still need tracking you can trust.

What's your actual goal?

Nobody wants a tracking app for its own sake. You want five things:

  1. Capture every order, including Shop Pay, Apple Pay and the ones ad blockers hide.
  2. Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn learn who buys.
  3. Include the sales that do not go through checkout, like phone orders and wholesale deals in your CRM.
  4. Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake shoppers.
  5. Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.

WeltPixel covers the first two very well. DataCops covers all five. Here is the same goal, done both ways.

The traditional way, with WeltPixel

  1. Install the app and connect your pixels.
  2. Pick a consent banner that sets Shopify's privacy signals.
  3. Accept that bot visits reach Meta like any other shopper.
  4. Upload phone and CRM sales to each ad platform by hand, or skip them.
  5. Strip health data yourself if Meta restricts your store.
  6. Guess why an order is missing in Events Manager.

With DataCops

  1. Install the DataCops Shopify app.
  2. Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with one click each.
  3. Switch on the consent manager.
  4. Switch on Real people only.
  5. Post CRM sales to your webhook if you sell off the checkout.

Then run your store. Every event has a row in the delivery log that says what happened and why.

WeltPixel gets the order to Meta. DataCops makes sure Meta learns from the right orders.

The real cost of a $39 tool

WeltPixel Plus is $39 a month. That is the only number on the invoice. The real cost is in the questions nobody asks before they install. Answer them with your own numbers.

The last question is the one that matters most. When the ads learn from bot carts and never hear about the phone sale, they find more of the wrong people. Cost per purchase climbs and nothing in the dashboard tells you why.

Cheap tracking is the most expensive line in your ad budget. It just does not send you the invoice.

Why people leave WeltPixel

WeltPixel does its job well, and its few reviews are all five stars. People leave for reasons that sit around the order, not in it.

  • Bots count as shoppers. We found no bot filtering on its pages. Fake visits and datacenter traffic flow to your ads like real ones.
  • Consent is someone else's job. It follows Shopify's privacy signals, so you still need a banner that sets them correctly.
  • Only the checkout counts. Sales closed on the phone, by invoice or in a CRM never reach the ads.
  • No LinkedIn. Stores that sell to businesses have no LinkedIn destination.
  • Shopify only. A landing page, a lead form or a second site on another platform needs another tool.
  • No answer to "why". We found no per-event log that says why an event was sent or held.

The real difference: what each order carries

Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.

The order goes server-side, either way

Credit where it is due. WeltPixel sends orders from a server, deduplicates them against the browser pixel, and even picks up admin and POS orders. Setup takes about five minutes.

DataCops does the core job the same way. Its Shopify app adds a Web Pixel for the shopping steps and listens for paid orders from Shopify itself, so Shop Pay and Apple Pay orders are included. Each order carries one order ID, so Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn count it once. Read more on Shopify CAPI.

Every visit gets a verdict

We found no bot filtering on WeltPixel's pages. A bot that adds to cart or starts a checkout looks like a shopper to Meta, and Meta goes looking for more of them.

DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per ad platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits never reach Meta. With it on, about 99% of bots are kept out. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies.

Consent is built in

WeltPixel respects Shopify's customer privacy signals, which is the right thing to do. But it has no consent manager of its own, so whether those signals are right depends on the banner you pick. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, served from your own domain, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.

Sales that never touch the checkout

Plenty of stores sell on the phone, by invoice, or to wholesale buyers in a CRM. WeltPixel sees Shopify orders only. A sale that closes anywhere else never reaches the ads.

DataCops takes those sales from any CRM by private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n, and sends it to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Read more on offline conversions.

You can see why each event was sent

We found no per-event log on WeltPixel's pages. When Meta shows fewer purchases than Shopify, you start guessing. DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it.

Shoppers are remembered longer

DataCops keeps click IDs for 90 days and sets a first-party visitor cookie that lasts up to 400 days, so a shopper who comes back weeks later still ties to the ad. In the EU that longer cookie still needs consent, which the built-in consent manager checks. WeltPixel's pages do not say how long it keeps visitors.

Privacy and data deletion are built in

Visitors can ask for their data to be deleted through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session data is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed emails and phones only. Google Ads deletions are still a manual step on your side. We found none of this on WeltPixel's pages.

WeltPixel tells Meta an order happened. DataCops tells you whether Meta should learn from it.

Sales off the checkout

Not every store sells only through the cart. Where the money comes later, or somewhere else, that is what your ads need to learn from.

Health, supplement and wellness stores

If your store sells supplements, skincare treatments or anything health related, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What gets an account restricted is usually the data itself: the page link names the product, the event name names the condition.

With WeltPixel, we found no setting on its pages that strips those fields. Product links and standard event names go out as they are.

With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only an approved list of fields and blocks everything else. Page links are cut to the domain and event names go neutral, so Purchase becomes a name like L_1.

1. DataCops: best WeltPixel alternative overall

Shopify app plus any site · Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn · free up to 2,000 sessions, Business $49 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly) for 50,000 sessions, agency plans from $199

DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.

On the basics, DataCops does what WeltPixel does: paid orders go server-side, express checkouts included, each counted once. The difference is everything around the order. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Consent is checked by a built-in manager. Sales from your CRM are added by webhook. And every event has a row that says what happened and why.

Why people switch to it

  • Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
  • Consent manager built in
  • Phone and CRM sales sent by webhook
  • LinkedIn, and sites beyond Shopify

Worth knowing

  • Four ad platforms, no Pinterest, Snap, Reddit or GA4 feed
  • Priced by sessions, so busy stores pay more
  • Real people only is off until you switch it on

Best for: stores that want the ads to learn from real shoppers, not just more events.

2. Analyzify: best for dashboards on top of tracking

Shopify tracking and analytics · 10+ platforms · Standard $109 to $145 a month, Plus $206 to $275 a month, by order volume

Analyzify is the step up if you want reports, not only events. It covers more than ten platforms, sells paid setup and server-side GTM add-ons, and has over 280 reviews at 4.7 stars. Plans are priced by order volume, from Standard for 5,000 to 20,000 orders up to Plus for 50,000 to 300,000.

The catch is the price. At several times WeltPixel's cost, you pay for analytics depth. Bot filtering and a consent manager are not on its pricing page.

Why people switch to it

  • Analytics dashboards
  • More than ten platforms
  • Setup help available

Worth knowing

  • Much higher price
  • Priced by order volume

Best for: stores that want Shopify reporting and tracking from one vendor.

3. Elevar: best for larger Shopify Plus brands

Shopify server-side tracking · about $225 a month at 2,000 orders, per WeltPixel's compare page

Elevar is the established name for big Shopify stores with a data team. Its pricing page now redirects elsewhere, so we could not check its price ourselves. WeltPixel's compare page puts it at about $225 a month at 2,000 orders.

It suits brands that want a lot of control and have someone to run it. For a small store it is a lot of tool. See our Elevar alternatives guide.

Why people switch to it

  • Built for large Shopify Plus brands
  • Deep configuration

Worth knowing

  • Much higher price
  • Price not confirmed on its own site

Best for: stores that run a large Shopify Plus brand with people to manage tracking.

4. Littledata: best for GA4 and subscriptions

Shopify tracking · about $274 a month at 2,000 orders, per WeltPixel's compare page

Littledata is known for getting Shopify and subscription data into GA4 cleanly. If your reporting lives in GA4 and you sell subscriptions, that focus is worth something. We did not confirm its price on its own site; WeltPixel's compare page cites about $274 a month at 2,000 orders.

Why people switch to it

  • GA4 focus
  • Subscription tracking

Worth knowing

  • Higher price
  • Price not confirmed on its own site

Best for: stores where GA4 and subscriptions are what you report on.

5. Trackify: best for small stores on a budget

Shopify pixel app · $8.99 to $28.99 a month, per WeltPixel's compare page

Trackify is the cheapest option here, and for a small store that is the point. WeltPixel's compare page lists it with three platforms. We did not confirm its plans on its own site.

Why people switch to it

  • Low price
  • Simple

Worth knowing

  • Few platforms
  • Price not confirmed on its own site

Best for: a small store that only needs the basics.

What you give up with DataCops

Fair question, so here is the straight answer.

  • Fewer destinations. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. No Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, OpenAI Ads, Microsoft Ads, Klaviyo or GA4 feed.
  • Less Shopify-specific reporting. DataCops reports are first-party analytics for any site, not Shopify dashboards. If you want store reports, Analyzify is built for that.
  • Refunds stay on the platforms. A refund does not reverse the conversion DataCops already sent.
  • A flat price. WeltPixel charges $39 for unlimited orders. DataCops charges by sessions, so a store with a lot of traffic pays more.
  • Shopify order detail. WeltPixel sends admin and POS orders and a new vs returning signal, and runs more than one pixel per channel.

If none of those matter to you, you lose nothing you use. If one does, the next section is for you.

Moving from WeltPixel without losing tracking

  1. Install the DataCops Shopify app next to WeltPixel. Leave WeltPixel running.
  2. Connect the same ad accounts, but send each purchase from one place only. Pick which platforms DataCops sends to and switch those off in WeltPixel, so nothing counts twice.
  3. Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, purchases, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
  4. Connect your CRM webhook to add the phone and invoice sales WeltPixel never saw.
  5. Keep WeltPixel for Pinterest or Snapchat if you need them, or remove it when the numbers look right.

How to choose a WeltPixel alternative

  1. Count your destinations. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn? DataCops covers them. Pinterest, Snap or Reddit? Stay with a Shopify app that has them.
  2. Look at your traffic. If bots add to cart or fill your forms, you want a switch that keeps them out of your ads.
  3. Check where your sales close. If some close on the phone or in a CRM, you need them sent too.
  4. Check your consent setup. If you sell in the EU, a built-in consent manager saves a vendor.
  5. Price the problem, not just the plan. A cheap app that teaches your ads from bots costs more than it saves.

Stay with WeltPixel if

  • You need Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, OpenAI Ads, GA4 or Klaviyo fed from one app.
  • You run a high-volume store and want a flat price.
  • Every sale happens in Shopify checkout and bot traffic is not a problem.

Pick DataCops if

  • You want bots kept out of Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • You want a consent manager and a delivery log built in.
  • Some of your sales close on the phone, by invoice or in a CRM, or you run sites beyond Shopify.

WeltPixel alternatives: FAQ

What is the best WeltPixel alternative?

If you want more Shopify reporting on top of tracking, Analyzify. If you run a big Shopify Plus brand, Elevar. If you want the paid order sent server-side plus a bot verdict on every visit, a built-in consent manager, a delivery log that says why each event went or did not, and phone or CRM sales added, DataCops.

How much does WeltPixel cost?

On its own site and Shopify listing, checked September 2026: Discovery is free for GA4 only, up to 100 orders a month. Plus is $39 a month or $390 a year, with unlimited orders and all 9 destinations. The price stays flat however many orders you take.

Which platforms does WeltPixel send to?

Meta CAPI, Google Ads, GA4, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, OpenAI Ads and Klaviyo. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. WeltPixel reaches more destinations; DataCops adds LinkedIn, which WeltPixel does not list.

Does WeltPixel filter bots?

We found no bot filtering on its pages. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies. Switch on Real people only for a platform and flagged visits are kept out of it. It is off by default.

Does WeltPixel have a consent manager?

No. It follows Shopify's customer privacy signals, so you still need a banner that sets them. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.

Does DataCops work on Shopify?

Yes. The DataCops Shopify app adds a Web Pixel for the shopping steps and listens for paid orders from Shopify itself, so Shop Pay and Apple Pay orders are included. Each order is sent once to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. See Shopify CAPI for the details.

Can WeltPixel track sales that close on the phone or in a CRM?

It tracks Shopify orders, including admin and POS orders. It does not take stages from a CRM. DataCops posts any sale from your CRM to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n.

Is DataCops cheaper than WeltPixel?

Usually not for a busy store. WeltPixel Plus is $39 a month flat for unlimited orders. DataCops is free up to 2,000 sessions, then Business $49 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly) for 50,000 sessions. A session is one visit, like in Google Analytics, so a store with lots of traffic pays more on DataCops. What you pay for is the bot verdict, consent manager, delivery log and CRM sales.

Can I use DataCops for sites that are not on Shopify?

Yes. Outside Shopify you add one script and one DNS record, and the same account covers lead forms, landing pages and other sites. WeltPixel is a Shopify app only.
