The short answer
Trackify installs pixels and sends them server-side. DataCops does that, then decides which events deserve to go, and where.
- DataCops: best overall if you want the whole tracking job. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn from your own subdomain, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, and a log of every send.
- Elevar: best for big Shopify stores that want control of the data layer.
- Littledata: best for GA4-first and Shopify Plus stores.
- Analyzify: best for GA4 merchants who want guided setup.
- Converlay: best for no-code setup on a small budget.
Most people who search for a Trackify alternative are not unhappy with it. Reviews are strong and the price is low. They hit a wall: they started Google Ads, or LinkedIn, or a second site that is not on Shopify, or they noticed half their add-to-carts come from bots.
Every list of Shopify tracking apps compares pixel counts and feed sizes. None of them ask what flows through the pixel, or what never reaches it. That is what this guide is about.
Is a pixel app the answer?
A pixel app does one slice of tracking well. It puts the store pixels on your theme and sends the same events server-side, so ad blockers lose fewer of them. Trackify does this for Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. That slice matters, and DataCops does it too: the DataCops Shopify app sends paid orders server-side.
But tracking is a chain, and the pixel is one link. Before it: is this visitor even a person, and did they consent? After it: did the event arrive, and why not? And outside the store: the phone order, the booked consult, the lead that paid later. A pixel app sees none of that. It forwards whatever the browser reports, bots included, to the platforms it knows.
Here is what DataCops adds to that same slice. It sends the events server-side from your own subdomain, so they arrive as first-party. It gives every visit a bot verdict, and a Real people only switch per platform keeps bots out of the ads that learn from them. It has a consent manager built in, so events wait for consent. Every event gets a row in a delivery log with a reason: sent, held, skipped or failed. And sales that close later, in a CRM or on a call, come in by webhook as offline stages.
The same goes for WordPress and WooCommerce plugins like PixelYourSite and Pixel Manager. They are pixel apps for a different shop. DataCops is not a plugin: it is one script and one DNS record, so it runs on any site, Shopify or not.
To be fair, pixel apps and plugins win on three things. They reach more ad platforms. Some cost a small one-time or monthly fee. And they come with store-specific reports DataCops does not build.
A pixel app moves events. A tracking solution decides which events are true, and proves they arrived.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants a pixel. You want five things:
- Capture every sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
- Send them to every ad platform you pay, so Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn learn who buys.
- Include the sales that happen elsewhere, on a call, in a CRM, on another site.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake shoppers.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Trackify covers the first goal for three platforms. Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Trackify
- Install Trackify and add your Meta, TikTok and Snapchat pixels.
- Install a separate app or tag for Google Ads.
- Find another way to reach LinkedIn.
- Buy a consent banner app and connect it.
- Accept that bot visits go to your ads as shoppers.
- Build a separate setup for any site that is not Shopify.
- Check each platform's own tools when numbers look wrong.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record, or install the Shopify app.
- Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with one click each.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect your CRM if some sales close there.
Then run your store. Click IDs are kept 90 days, on every site you own.
Trackify gives three platforms a pixel. DataCops gives four platforms the truth.
The real cost of a $7 tool
Trackify is $7 a month on yearly billing for a Shopify Basic store. That is the only number on the invoice. The real cost is in the questions nobody asks before they buy. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build Google Ads, LinkedIn and a consent banner around your Trackify pixels before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question is the one that matters most. When the ads learn from bot carts and never see the sale that closed on the phone, they find more of the wrong people. Cost per sale climbs, and nothing in the dashboard tells you why.
Cheap tracking is the most expensive line in your ad budget. It just does not send you the invoice.
Why people leave Trackify
Trackify does its job well. People leave for reasons that sit around it.
- No Google Ads or LinkedIn. Its pages list Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. Search and B2B ads need another tool.
- Shopify only. A second site on WordPress, WooCommerce or custom code needs a different setup.
- Bots count as shoppers. We found no bot filter, so bot carts and checkouts reach your ads.
- Consent is someone else's job. You add a banner from another app.
- Only the store is seen. Orders are tracked. A consult booked or a deal won in a CRM is not.
- The plan pages disagree. The pricing page says unlimited Conversion APIs; the Shopify listing says 8 on Basic.
The real difference: what goes through the pixel
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
Four ad platforms, one install
Trackify sends to Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. If you also run Google Ads, you install something else and keep two setups in step.
DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn from one install, server-side from your own subdomain. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so they do not disturb your bidding until you choose. Snapchat is not on the list. If you advertise there, count that against us.
Every visit gets a verdict
We found no bot filtering on Trackify's pages. A bot that adds to cart looks like a shopper, and your ads go looking for more like it.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits are kept out of Meta. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies. When it is on, about 99% of bots are kept out.
Any site, not just Shopify
Trackify lives inside Shopify. DataCops is one script and one DNS record, so the same account covers your Shopify store, a WordPress blog, a WooCommerce shop or a custom landing page. For Shopify there is also the DataCops app for paid orders.
Consent is built in
We found no consent manager on Trackify's pages. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2. Website events wait for consent before they are sent. Visitors are remembered up to 400 days on your subdomain, which in the EU still needs consent.
You can see why each event was sent
When Meta shows fewer purchases than Shopify, a pixel app leaves you checking Events Manager. DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. The click log in first-party analytics shows what happened to each ad click.
Privacy and deletion are built in
Visitors can ask for deletion through a form on your privacy page, confirmed by email, with their session anonymised and a status page. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically; Google Ads deletions are a manual step. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed email and phone only. We found none of this on Trackify's pages.
Trackify tells Meta a sale happened. DataCops tells you whether it should have.
Sales that close later
Many Shopify brands also sell on the phone, by invoice or through a sales team. Trackify tracks store orders. DataCops also takes stages from your CRM, matches each one to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone, and sends it to your ads.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Stores that sell on the phone or on credit | Checkout started | The order that was actually paid |
| Wholesale and B2B orders | Enquiry form | Lead, and won with its value, by webhook |
| High-ticket products with a consult | Booking form | Booked, showed, won |
| Agencies running store ads | Orders per client | Every client on one board |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. CRM events carry no bot flag, so Real people only applies to website events.

Meta health and wellness restrictions
Sell supplements, skincare that treats a condition, or anything health related? Meta may restrict the events it accepts from your store. What gets flagged is the data: a product link that names the condition, an event name that says too much.
With Trackify, we found no setting on its pricing page or app listing to strip that data before it is sent.
With DataCops, you switch on health mode. Only an approved list of fields is sent. Page links are cut to your domain and event names go neutral, so Lead becomes L_1.

"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald

1. DataCops: best Trackify alternative overall
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
On the basics, DataCops does what Trackify does: store events and paid orders go server-side, so ad blockers and Safari do not strip them. The difference is everything around the pixel. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Consent is checked by a built-in manager. Google Ads and LinkedIn are included. And every event has a row that says what happened.
Why people switch to it
- Google Ads and LinkedIn from the same install
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- Works on any site, not just Shopify
- Consent manager and delivery log included
Worth knowing
- No Snapchat, no product feeds
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
- Higher price than Trackify for a small store
Best for: anyone who wants the tracking right, not just the pixels installed.

2. Elevar: best for data layer control
Elevar is the heavy option for established Shopify stores. It gives you control of the data layer and many destinations. It costs far more than Trackify and assumes someone on the team wants to own that setup. More in our Elevar alternatives guide.
Why people switch to it
- Deep Shopify data layer
- Built for large stores
Worth knowing
- A big step up in price
- More to configure
Best for: large Shopify stores with someone to run it.

3. Littledata: best for GA4-first stores
Littledata is built around getting Shopify orders into GA4 cleanly, and suits Shopify Plus stores. Per-order pricing is friendly to small stores; the flat plan is not.
Why people switch to it
- Strong GA4 focus
- Pay per order option
Worth knowing
- Analytics first, ads second
- Flat plan is costly
Best for: stores where GA4 is where decisions get made.

4. Analyzify: best for guided GA4 setup
Analyzify sets up GA4 and ad tracking for you, with Google Tag Manager as an option. It fits merchants who want a done-for-you setup and are comfortable with a GTM-based stack.
Why people switch to it
- Guided setup
- GA4 depth
Worth knowing
- GTM in the stack means upkeep
- Much pricier than Trackify
Best for: merchants who want GA4 set up for them.

5. Converlay: best no-code option on a budget
Converlay aims at no-code setup for stores and agencies, with a free tier. It is the closest in price to Trackify on this list.
Why people switch to it
- No code
- Free tier
Worth knowing
- Check bot and consent features yourself
Best for: a cheap no-code step up from a pixel app.

What you give up with DataCops
Fair question, so here is the straight answer.
- Price. Trackify is $7 a month on yearly billing. DataCops Business is $49. For a small store that only runs Meta, Trackify is cheaper.
- Snapchat. DataCops does not send to Snapchat. Trackify does.
- Product feeds. DataCops has no catalog builder. Trackify does.
- Store reports. Trackify has UTM analytics and audience tools built for Shopify. DataCops gives you a click log and first-party analytics, not store reports.
- A DNS step. For sites outside Shopify, you add one DNS record. Trackify is a plain app install.
Moving from Trackify without losing tracking
- Install DataCops next to Trackify. The Shopify app, or one script and one DNS record.
- Connect Google Ads and LinkedIn first, since Trackify does not send there. Those platforms get events from one place only.
- Move Meta and TikTok one at a time. Turn off the Trackify pixel for that platform when you connect it in DataCops, so each purchase is sent from one place.
- Compare for two weeks in Events Manager and Google Ads, and check what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Keep Trackify for Snapchat or feeds if you need them, or remove it.
How to choose a Trackify alternative
- Count your ad platforms. Google Ads or LinkedIn in the mix? Trackify will not cover them.
- Count your sites. Anything not on Shopify rules out a Shopify-only app.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your carts, you want a switch per platform.
- Check where sales close. Phone or CRM sales need a webhook, not a pixel.
- Price the extra apps. Add the consent app and the Google Ads app to Trackify's bill before you compare.
Stay with Trackify if
- You run one Shopify store and only advertise on Meta, TikTok or Snapchat.
- You need product feeds from the same app.
- Price matters more than bot filtering or consent.
Pick DataCops if
- You run Google Ads or LinkedIn as well as Meta and TikTok.
- You want bots kept out of what your ads learn from.
- You have sites beyond Shopify, sales that close in a CRM, or many clients to run.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Shopify CAPI and server-side tracking.
- Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, TikTok Events API, LinkedIn Conversions API.
- Click fraud protection, SignupCops and first-party analytics.
- Consent manager, Ads Warmup and health mode.
- Offline conversions, HighLevel conversion tracking and DataCops for agencies.
Trackify alternatives: FAQ
What is the best Trackify alternative?
If you want a heavier Shopify data layer, Elevar. If you want GA4 first, Littledata or Analyzify. If you want the whole tracking job done, DataCops: paid orders sent server-side from your own subdomain to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, and a delivery log that says why each event went or did not.
How much does Trackify cost?
On trackifyapp.com/pricing, checked September 2026: a free plan with 1 pixel and up to 15 orders a month, then plans that follow your Shopify plan. Shopify Basic is $8.99 a month or $7 a month billed yearly, Grow $18.99 or $15, Advanced $28.99 or $22, Plus $38.99 or $30. Paid plans have a 7-day free trial.
Which ad platforms does Trackify support?
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Snapchat, as pixels plus each platform's Conversions API. We found no Google Ads or LinkedIn destination on its pricing page or app listing.
Does Trackify work outside Shopify?
No. Trackify is a Shopify app. It does not run on WooCommerce, WordPress or a custom site. DataCops is one script and one DNS record, so it works on any site, and it also has a Shopify app for paid orders.
Does Trackify filter bots?
We found no bot filtering on its pricing page or app listing. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies. With Real people only switched on for a platform, flagged visits are kept out of it. The switch is off by default.
Does Trackify include a consent manager?
We found none. You bring a consent banner from another app. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
Can Trackify send booked calls or CRM sales?
No. Trackify tracks store events and orders. DataCops sends CRM stages too: HighLevel natively (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid) and any other CRM by private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n.
Is DataCops cheaper than Trackify?
No, not for a small store. Trackify starts at $7 a month billed yearly. DataCops is free up to 2,000 sessions, then Business is $49 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly) for 50,000 sessions. A session is one visit, like in Google Analytics. You pay more for Google Ads, LinkedIn, bot filtering, consent and the delivery log.
Does DataCops send Snapchat events or build product feeds?
No. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn only, and has no catalog or feed builder. If Snapchat or feeds matter to you, Trackify does both.
