The short answer
Madgicx helps you run Meta ads. DataCops makes sure the ads learn from real buyers, on every platform, including the sales that close after the form.
- DataCops: best overall if tracking is the job. One script, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, and CRM stages sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Cometly: best for B2B and lead-gen teams that want multi-touch reports.
- Northbeam: best for large ecommerce brands that want independent attribution.
- wetracked.io: best for Shopify stores that only need server-side pixels.
- Triple Whale: best for DTC Shopify brands that want one analytics suite.
Most people find Madgicx for its AI ad tools: automations, audits and creative for Meta. Tracking came later, as an add-on at $49 a month per ad account. That is fine if Meta is your whole world and every sale happens in a Shopify checkout.
It gets thin when your sales close somewhere else, when bots fill your forms, or when you also run Google Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn. That is what this guide is about.
Better reports, same ads?
Here is the trap with most attribution and ad-analytics tools. They tell you what worked. A nicer dashboard, a better model, a smarter chart. But the ad platform never learns any of it. Meta still optimizes on whatever event reaches it.
If Meta only hears about form fills, it finds more people who fill in forms. It does not find more people who buy. No report fixes that. Only the signal going back to the ad does.
DataCops sends that signal. When a lead books, shows up, is marked won or pays, the stage goes back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the original ad click. The algorithm learns who your buyers are, and goes looking for more of them.
| What happens after the click | Who learns it with an attribution tool | Who learns it with DataCops |
|---|---|---|
| A lead fills the form | You and the ad | You and the ad |
| The lead books a call | You, in a report | The ad, matched to the click |
| The lead shows up | You, in a report | The ad, matched to the click |
| The deal is won, with its value | You, in a report | The ad, with the value |
| The invoice is paid | You, in a report | The ad, matched to the click |
DataCops sends these stages to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Cancelled, no-show and lost are never sent.
For a pure Shopify store the gap is smaller, and we will say so. Purchases already reach the ads through the checkout. There the edge is different:
- Bots kept out. Switch on Real people only and about 99% of bots never reach the platform.
- Consent checked. Events wait for a yes from the built-in consent manager.
- First-party capture. Served from your own subdomain, with click IDs kept 90 days.
- No dashboard to babysit. The data goes to the ads. You do not have to read a chart for it to work.
And if you love dashboards, multi-touch models, MMM or creative analytics, Madgicx and the reporting tools below do more there. We do not build those.
A report teaches you. A conversion teaches the ad. Only one of them spends your budget.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody buys tracking for its own sake. You want five things:
- Capture every lead and sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
- Send them to your ad platforms, so Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn learn who buys.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Madgicx covers the first two well for Meta. Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Madgicx
- Pick a plan, priced by ad spend inside the app.
- Add Tracking Pro for each ad account.
- Set up CAPI Gateway hosting on top of a working Meta Pixel.
- Add a CNAME if you want it first-party.
- Set up Signals Gateway for TikTok or custom endpoints.
- Find another way to reach Google Ads and LinkedIn.
- Buy a consent banner from another vendor.
- Feed CRM data in yourself, per client.
- Handle bots, health rules and deletion requests elsewhere.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect each ad platform with one click.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then run your ads. Click IDs are kept for 90 days, and every send gets a row in the delivery log.
Madgicx sells a slice of the chain. DataCops is the whole chain, from the click to the paid invoice.
The real cost of a hidden price
Madgicx does not show its main price. It lives inside the app, and it rises as your ad spend grows. Tracking Pro is $49 a month on top, per ad account. The bigger cost is in the questions nobody asks before they buy. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your gateways, CNAME, consent banner and CRM feeds before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. When the ads only see form fills or add-to-carts, they learn to find more of those, not more buyers. Cost per sale climbs, and the dashboard looks fine.
A price that grows with your ad spend taxes you for succeeding.
Why people leave Madgicx
Madgicx is a real product with real fans. People leave for reasons around tracking, not the ad tools.
- The price is hidden and grows with spend. The pricing page says to see the price inside the app, in tiers by monthly ad spend.
- Tracking is billed per ad account. Tracking Pro is $49 a month for each one. Agencies feel this fast.
- It is Meta first. The gateways reach Meta and TikTok. We found no LinkedIn destination, and Google Ads is a reporting link, not a gateway destination.
- First-party is optional. The CNAME in the CAPI Gateway setup is an extra step, not the default.
- Bots and consent are left to you. We found no per-visit bot verdict and no consent manager on its site.
- The sale after the form is your job. CRM data can be fed in, but there are no native booked, showed and won stages.
The real difference: who learns from the data
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The ad learns who bought
Madgicx is built to show you what your Meta ads did. But the platform learns only from the events it receives. For a clinic, an agency or a B2B team, those events stop at the form.
DataCops carries the story past the form. Install it once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Read more on offline conversions and HighLevel conversion tracking.
Every visit gets a verdict
We found no bot filter on Madgicx's site. So every bot lead that reaches your pixel reaches Meta, and Meta goes looking for more like it.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies (see click fraud protection). Switch on Real people only for a platform and about 99% of bots are kept out of it. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies.
Four platforms, one script
Madgicx's CAPI Gateway hosting is Meta only. Its Signals Gateway adds TikTok, BigQuery and custom endpoints, with a longer setup. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn from one script, server-side from your own subdomain by default. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so nothing changes in your bidding until you decide.
Consent is built in
We found no consent manager on Madgicx's site. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, served from your own domain. Website events wait for consent before they are sent. The visitor cookie lasts up to 400 days, and in the EU that still needs consent.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why conversions dropped, you open the row. We found no per-row delivery log like this on Madgicx's site.
Signups, warmup and privacy
SignupCops keeps the ad click through Sign in with Google and holds risky signups back. Ads Warmup uploads up to 20,000 past customers. Visitors can ask for deletion through a self-serve form, and deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. We found none of these on Madgicx's site.
Madgicx tells you which ad won. DataCops tells the ad.
Offline conversions: the sale after the click
Most businesses outside Shopify do not sell on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need to learn from.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Lead, booked, won and paid, by webhook |
| Stores that sell on the phone or on credit | Checkout started | The order that was actually paid |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops matches the sale to the ad click, by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- The stage goes to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, counted once, with a row in the delivery log for each send.
Meta health restrictions
Clinics, dental, med spa and wellness brands hit a wall with Meta. When Meta flags a site as health related, it limits what data you can send. Lower-funnel events get blocked, and ads lose their signal.
DataCops has a health mode for this. It sends only an approved field list. It cuts page links down to the domain. It renames events to neutral names like L_1. The booking still reaches Meta, without the details Meta will not accept.
We found no health mode on Madgicx's site.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Madgicx steps come from its own academy lessons. DataCops steps are what you do in the dashboard.
| The job | With Madgicx | |
|---|---|---|
| Get Meta events server-side | Set up CAPI Gateway hosting (10 to 15 minutes) on top of a working Meta Pixel. | Add one script and one DNS record, then connect Meta with one click. |
| Make it first-party | Optional: add a CNAME pointing to Madgicx. | Default: served from your own subdomain. |
| Add TikTok | Set up Signals Gateway hosting (30 to 45 minutes). | Click Connect TikTok. |
| Add Google Ads and LinkedIn | Not a gateway destination we found. Use another tool. | Click Connect for each. |
| Handle consent | Bring a consent banner from another vendor. | Switch on the built-in consent manager (IAB TCF v2.2). |
| Keep bots out | No bot filter found on its site. | Switch on Real people only per platform. |
| Send a CRM sale | Feed CRM data into Signals Gateway yourself. | Install once on HighLevel and pick the clients, or post to your webhook. |
"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald

1. DataCops: best Madgicx alternative for tracking
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. It is not an ad manager. Conversions go server-side from your own domain to four ad platforms. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Consent is checked by a built-in manager. And the stages after the form come from your CRM, matched to the click, so the ads learn who actually pays.
Why people switch to it
- Four ad platforms from one script
- Real people only keeps bots out
- Booked, showed, won and paid from HighLevel or any CRM
- One price by sessions, not per ad account
Worth knowing
- No AI ad management or creative tools
- No Shopify reporting dashboards
- No BigQuery feed
Best for: teams that want the ads to learn from real buyers across every platform.

2. Cometly: best for B2B attribution reports
Cometly pairs a pixel with server-side tracking and multi-touch attribution. It connects to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and Snapchat, more destinations than DataCops. There is no public price and no free trial, and CRM and warehouse sync are Enterprise only.
Why people switch to it
- Multi-touch attribution
- Many ad platforms
Worth knowing
- No public price
- CRM sync is Enterprise only
Best for: teams where multi-touch reports matter more than the price tag. See our Cometly alternatives.

3. Northbeam: best for large ecommerce brands
Northbeam is a serious attribution platform for brands with real budgets. It tells you which channels drive revenue, with its own models. It is a reporting tool, so the insight lands with you, not with the ad platform.
Why people switch to it
- Deep multi-touch models
- Built for large ecommerce
Worth knowing
- Starts at $1,500 a month
- Tells you, not the ads
Best for: big spenders who want independent attribution. See our Northbeam alternatives.

4. wetracked.io: best for Shopify server-side pixels
wetracked.io sends Shopify and funnel conversions server-side to Meta, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Snapchat and Google Ads. For a store that only needs pixels fixed, it is simple and direct. It is priced by orders, and we found no bot filter or CRM stages on its pricing page.
Why people switch to it
- Many ecommerce ad platforms
- Clear public prices
Worth knowing
- Priced by orders
- Built for stores, not leads
Best for: Shopify stores that only need the pixels fixed.

5. Triple Whale: best for DTC Shopify analytics
Triple Whale is an analytics suite for Shopify brands: attribution, dashboards and store numbers in one place. If you liked Madgicx's reporting more than its ad tools, it is the natural next stop. Like the other reporting tools, it tells you what worked rather than teaching the ad.
Why people switch to it
- Shopify dashboards in one place
- Attribution for DTC brands
Worth knowing
- Check the price in their app
- Store-first, not lead-first
Best for: DTC Shopify brands that live in dashboards. See our Triple Whale alternatives.

What you give up with DataCops
Fair question, so here is the straight answer.
- AI ad management. No automations, audits or creative tools. If you use Madgicx for those, keep it.
- Rich dashboards. No Shopify or Klaviyo reporting, no multi-touch models, no MMM, no creative analytics.
- A warehouse feed. No BigQuery. Madgicx's Signals Gateway can send there.
- Other ad networks. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn only. No Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Snap or Pinterest.
If you only used Madgicx for tracking, you lose nothing you use. If you use its ad tools, run both.
Moving from Madgicx without losing tracking
- Add DataCops next to Madgicx. One script and one DNS record. Leave everything running.
- Connect the same ad accounts, but send each conversion from one place only. Turn off the matching gateway events so nothing counts twice.
- Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) and add Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Cancel Tracking Pro when the numbers look right. Keep Madgicx for ads if you like it.
How to choose a Madgicx alternative
- Ask what you are replacing. The ad tools, the reports, or the tracking? Each has a different best pick.
- Check where your sales close. In a CRM or on a call? You need stages sent back to the ads.
- Count your ad platforms. More than Meta? Make sure all of them get the data.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your forms, you want one switch per platform.
- Price the whole thing. Add every per-account fee and the price that grows with spend.
Stay with Madgicx if
- You mostly run Meta ads for a Shopify store and use its AI ad tools every day.
- You want Shopify and Klaviyo reporting in the same place as your ads.
- You need events in BigQuery.
Pick DataCops if
- Your sales close after the form: a booking, a call, a visit, a signed deal.
- You run Google Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn next to Meta.
- Bots fill your forms, or you need consent handled.
- You are an agency tired of paying per ad account.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Offline conversions: CRM sales and stages back to your ads.
- HighLevel conversion tracking and DataCops for agencies.
- Server-side tracking and the no-GTM alternative.
- Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, TikTok Events API, LinkedIn Conversions API.
- Click fraud protection, SignupCops and first-party analytics.
- Consent manager, Ads Warmup and health mode.
Madgicx alternatives: FAQ
What is the best Madgicx alternative?
It depends on which part of Madgicx you want to replace. If you love its AI ad tools, keep them. If you bought it for tracking, DataCops is the stronger tracking layer: one script, a bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager built in, and CRM stages like booked, showed and won sent to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. For Shopify reporting, look at Triple Whale or Northbeam.
How much does Madgicx cost?
On madgicx.com/pricing, checked September 2026, the main plan (Madgicx Pro Complete with AI) shows no price. It says to see the price inside the app, and it rises with your monthly ad spend in tiers from under $1,000 to over $30,000. Its blog mentions plans from about $45 a month. The Tracking Pro add-on is $49 a month for each connected ad account. There is a 7-day free trial.
What is Madgicx Tracking Pro?
An add-on at $49 a month per connected ad account. Madgicx describes it as server-to-server tracking for Facebook ads, with first-party conversion data and enhanced conversions using the fbclid. It is built around Meta.
Does Madgicx filter bots?
We found no per-visit bot verdict or real-people-only switch on its site. DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies. With Real people only switched on for a platform, flagged visits are kept out of it, about 99% of bots. It is off by default.
Does Madgicx send to LinkedIn or Google Ads?
Its Signals Gateway hosting lists Meta, TikTok, BigQuery and custom API endpoints. Google appears as a reporting connection, not a gateway destination, and we found no LinkedIn destination. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Can Madgicx send CRM stages like booked or won?
Signals Gateway can take CRM data and offline uploads as inputs, which you set up. We found no native HighLevel connection with stages. DataCops installs once on your HighLevel agency and sends lead, booked, showed, won with value and paid, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook.
Does Madgicx have a consent manager?
We found none on its site. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
Can I use DataCops and Madgicx together?
Yes. Madgicx can keep running your Meta ads, audits and creative. DataCops feeds the ad accounts clean, consented conversions and the sales from your CRM. Just send each conversion from one place only, so nothing counts twice.
Is DataCops cheaper than Madgicx?
For tracking alone, compare DataCops Business at $49 a month billed yearly for 50,000 sessions, covering all four ad platforms, with Tracking Pro at $49 a month for each ad account, on top of a Madgicx plan. DataCops also has a free plan up to 2,000 sessions. A session is one visit, like in Google Analytics.
Do I need Google Tag Manager to use DataCops?
No. You add one script and one DNS record, connect your ad accounts with one click each, and DataCops captures click IDs and conversions by itself.
