The short answer
Factors tells you what worked. DataCops tells your ads, so they buy more of it.
- DataCops: best for teams that want Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn to learn from booked, showed, won and paid, with bots kept out.
- Dreamdata: best for B2B revenue attribution with account journeys.
- HockeyStack: best for mid-market and enterprise GTM reporting.
- RB2B: best for naming the person behind a visit, cheaply.
- Leadfeeder: best for seeing which companies visit, on a budget.
Most people who search for a Factors.ai alternative start with the price. Paid plans start at $6,000 a year and climb to $30,000 and more. That is a fair reason to look. But price is not the deeper question.
The deeper question is where the answer goes. A great attribution report lands in a dashboard, a Slack channel, a meeting. Your ad platforms never read any of them. They keep bidding on whatever they were told last, and for most B2B teams that is a form fill.
Your report learns. Your ads do not.
Attribution tools are built to answer one question for you: which campaigns and touches led to revenue. Factors does this well, with 8 models, account journeys and scoring.
But Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn decide who sees your ads. They learn from the conversions you send them. If they only ever get the demo request, they get better at finding people who request demos. Not people who show up. Not people who sign.
- The insight stays with you. You learn LinkedIn drove the won deal. The bidding algorithm does not.
- The stage never reaches the click. Booked, showed, won and paid live in your CRM. The ad platform only saw the form.
- Bots count as leads. A bot that fills your form is a conversion the ads chase more of.
Think of it as two different readers. Attribution tools write for you. Conversion tracking writes for the ad platform. Only one of those readers spends your budget every hour of the day.
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. It is the other half. It keeps the ad click on your own domain, waits for the CRM to report the stage, and sends booked, showed, won and paid back to the ads matched to that click. The platform learns who buys, and finds more of them.
An attribution report changes your mind. A conversion sent back changes your ads.
To be fair: Factors does push some data back. It lists LinkedIn CAPI, audience sync and Google Ads enhanced conversions, the last two on its Enterprise plan. If you are on Enterprise and only run LinkedIn and Google, you already have part of this.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody buys an attribution tool for the charts. You want five things:
- Capture every lead, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
- Tell your ad platforms who became a customer, not just who filled a form.
- Include the stages that happen later, on a call, in a demo, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so the platforms do not learn from fake leads.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Factors helps you understand steps one and three. DataCops does all five, and hands the result to the ads. Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Factors
- Add the Factors script and connect your CRM.
- Pick an attribution model and build reports.
- Read which campaigns and accounts worked.
- Move budget by hand based on what you read.
- Upgrade to Enterprise for audience sync and Google enhanced conversions.
- Find another tool for Meta and TikTok stages.
- Buy a consent banner and handle bots separately.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect each ad platform with one click.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then the ads learn by themselves. Every booked call, show-up, won deal and payment goes back to the click that brought it.
Factors helps you make better decisions about your ads. DataCops helps your ads make better decisions.
The real cost of a $6,000 tool
Factors Basic is $6,000 a year. That is the number on the invoice. The rest sits in the questions below. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your attribution reports, CRM sync and the extra tools that send stages to Meta and TikTok before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. A report that says LinkedIn works is useful. An ad account that bids for won deals instead of form fills is worth more.
Knowing what worked is not the same as your ads knowing it.
Why people leave Factors
Factors is a strong B2B tool. People leave for reasons around it, not because the reports are bad.
- The price jumps fast. $199 a month for Lite, then $6,000, $20,000 and $30,000 a year as you grow.
- The ad features sit at the top. Audience sync and Google Ads enhanced conversions are listed on Enterprise.
- It is built for B2B accounts. A clinic, a home services business or an agency with HighLevel clients gets little from account scoring.
- TikTok is not listed, and Meta appears on the pricing page with no detail on what is sent.
- Insight is not action. Someone still has to read the report and change the campaigns.
The real difference: who learns from the sale
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The stage goes back to the ad
Factors connects to your CRM so it can show you which campaigns led to deals. That view is for you.
DataCops connects to your CRM so the ads can learn. Install it once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Form leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts the stage to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. See offline conversions.
Every visit gets a verdict
We did not find a per-visit bot check on the Factors pages we read. For a report that may be fine. For an ad platform it is not: every bot lead it receives is a lead it goes looking for more of.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies, and turns it into one switch per ad platform (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits never reach Meta. It is off by default. When it is on, about 99% of bots stay out. One honest limit: stages that come from your CRM carry no bot flag.
Four ad platforms, one place
Factors is deepest on LinkedIn, with impression control, bid scheduling, bulk exclusion and view-through attribution. Those are real LinkedIn wins. Its Google Ads enhanced conversions are listed on Enterprise.
DataCops connects Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Events go server-side, first-party, from your own subdomain. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so nothing changes your bidding until you choose.
Consent is built in
We did not find a consent manager of its own on the Factors pages we read. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, served from your own domain. Website events wait for consent before they are sent.
You can see why each event was sent
DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When a client asks why a won deal did not show up in Meta, the answer is one row away.
Privacy and data deletion are built in
Visitors can ask for their data to be deleted through a form on your privacy page. They confirm by email, their session is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically; Google Ads deletions are a manual step. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed emails and phones only.
Factors shows you the journey. DataCops makes sure the end of it reaches the ad.
Offline conversions: the part the ads need most
Most businesses do not close on the website. The website collects the lead. The money comes later, and that later moment is what your ads need to learn from.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, demo showed, won, paid |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Legal, finance, high-ticket services | Enquiry | Consult booked, client signed |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each stage is matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- The lead books, shows up or signs in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops finds the original click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- The stage goes to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, counted once, with a delivery row for each.
Signups through Sign in with Google often lose the ad click. SignupCops keeps it, and holds risky signups back.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Here is the same job, getting a won deal to your ad platforms, done both ways.

"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald
Every feature, side by side
Every DataCops feature, against what Factors offers for the same need, plus the things Factors does that DataCops does not. Factors wins a lot of rows. We marked them.

1. DataCops: best if your ads should learn from sales
DataCops is not an attribution dashboard. It is the tracking underneath: one script and one DNS record, events sent server-side from your own domain, a bot verdict on every visit, and the stages from your CRM sent back to the ad that brought the lead. The ads do the optimising, with better data.
Why people switch to it
- Booked, showed, won and paid sent to four ad platforms
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- HighLevel native, any CRM by webhook
- A fraction of the price
Worth knowing
- No company identification or account scoring
- No multi-touch attribution models
- No Microsoft Ads
Best for: teams whose goal is better ads, not better slides.

2. Dreamdata: best for B2B revenue attribution
Dreamdata is the closest like-for-like swap. It maps account journeys and ties revenue back to touches, the same job Factors does. It has a free plan with a cap on tracked users, which makes it easy to try. We could not find public prices for the paid plans.
Why people switch to it
- Account journeys and revenue attribution
- Free plan to start
Worth knowing
- Paid prices not public
- Still a report for your team first
Best for: the same kind of tool with a free start. See our Dreamdata alternatives.

3. HockeyStack: best for mid-market GTM reporting
HockeyStack is built for marketing and sales teams that want one place for GTM analytics and ROI reporting. Every plan is custom, so you talk to sales before you see a number. They do offer startup pricing.
Why people switch to it
- Broad GTM reporting
- Startup pricing
Worth knowing
- No public prices
- A sales call before a trial
Best for: bigger teams that live in reports. See our HockeyStack alternatives.

4. RB2B: best for naming the person behind a visit
If what you use most in Factors is "who visited", RB2B is a cheaper way to get it. It names the person behind a visit and sends them to Slack or your CRM. The free plan shows companies only; business emails start on Pro.
Why people switch to it
- Much cheaper than Factors
- Person-level names on paid plans
Worth knowing
- Identification only, no attribution
- Resolution caps per plan
Best for: teams that only need to know who dropped by.

5. Leadfeeder by Dealfront: best for company visits on a budget
Leadfeeder shows which companies visit your site, with unlimited users. The free Lite plan is enough to see if it helps. It is lighter than Factors on attribution and scoring, and a lot cheaper.
Why people switch to it
- Free plan
- Unlimited users
Worth knowing
- Short history on the free plan
- Less depth on attribution
Best for: company visits without an enterprise contract.
What you give up with DataCops
Fair question, so here is the straight answer.
- Account intelligence. No company identification, no account scoring, no ABM analytics, no G2 intent.
- Attribution reports. DataCops has a click log in first-party analytics, not 8 attribution models or account journeys.
- Dashboards for the whole team. Factors builds reports your sales and leadership read every week. DataCops does not try to be that tool.
- LinkedIn controls and Microsoft Ads. No impression control, bid scheduling or audience sync, and no Bing.
If your sales team lives on account data, keep Factors for that and add DataCops for the ads. If you bought Factors to fix your ad performance, DataCops is the more direct tool.
Moving from Factors without losing tracking
- Add DataCops next to Factors. One script and one DNS record. Leave Factors running.
- Connect your ad accounts, and send each conversion from one place only. If Factors sends Google enhanced conversions or LinkedIn CAPI today, switch those off for the events DataCops sends, so nothing counts twice.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) so booked, showed, won and paid go to the ads.
- Compare for a few weeks in each ad platform: conversions received, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Decide what to keep. Keep Factors if your team uses its account reports. Cancel at renewal if not.
How to choose a Factors.ai alternative
- Ask who needs the answer. Your team needs reports: Dreamdata or HockeyStack. Your ads need the sale: DataCops.
- Check where deals close. If they close in a CRM, the ads need those stages sent back.
- Count your ad platforms. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn? DataCops covers them. Microsoft Ads? Keep that in mind.
- Decide if you need names. For who visited, RB2B or Leadfeeder cost far less than a full ABM suite.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your forms, keep them out before they reach the ads.
Stay with Factors if
- You sell B2B to named accounts and your sales team uses the scoring and alerts.
- You need multi-touch attribution models and G2 intent.
- LinkedIn is your main channel and you use its impression and bid controls.
Pick DataCops if
- You want Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn to learn from booked, showed, won and paid.
- Bots fill your forms and you want them kept out of the ads.
- You run HighLevel, or you want tracking at a fraction of the price.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Offline conversions: CRM stages back to your ads.
- HighLevel conversion tracking and DataCops for agencies.
- Server-side tracking and the no-GTM alternative.
- Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, TikTok Events API, LinkedIn Conversions API.
- Click fraud protection, SignupCops and first-party analytics.
- Consent manager, Ads Warmup and health mode.

Factors.ai alternatives: FAQ
What is the best Factors.ai alternative?
It depends on the job. For account journeys and B2B revenue reports, Dreamdata or HockeyStack. For naming the companies or people who visit, RB2B or Leadfeeder. If what you actually need is for your ads to learn which clicks became booked calls, won deals and paid customers, DataCops sends those stages to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the click.
How much does Factors.ai cost?
On factors.ai/pricing, checked September 2026: Lite is a free trial, then $199 a month. Basic is $6,000 a year, Growth $20,000 a year, and Enterprise starts at $30,000 a year. Plans are sized by monthly tracked users, companies identified and seats.
Is Factors.ai an attribution tool or an ad tool?
Mostly attribution and account intelligence. It identifies visiting companies, maps each account journey, scores accounts and offers 8 attribution models. It also has ad features, mainly for LinkedIn, and audience sync and Google Ads enhanced conversions listed on its Enterprise plan.
What is the difference between attribution and conversion tracking?
Attribution tells you which campaigns worked, in a report. Conversion tracking tells the ad platform which clicks turned into customers, so its bidding finds more of them. DataCops does the second: it sends booked, showed, won and paid back to the ads, matched to the original click.
Does DataCops identify companies visiting my site?
No. DataCops does not unmask visiting companies, score accounts or show account journeys. If that is your main need, Factors, RB2B or Leadfeeder do it and DataCops does not.
Does Factors.ai filter bots?
We did not find a per-visit bot, datacenter, VPN or proxy verdict on the Factors pages we read. DataCops puts a verdict on every visit and, with Real people only switched on for a platform, keeps flagged visits out of that platform. It is off by default.
Does DataCops send to Microsoft Ads?
No. DataCops sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Factors lists Bing among its supported platforms, so if Microsoft Ads matters, that row goes to Factors.
Can I use DataCops and Factors together?
Yes. They do different jobs. Factors can keep the account reports and intent data for your sales team, while DataCops sends CRM stages to your ad platforms and keeps bots out of them.
Is DataCops cheaper than Factors.ai?
Yes, by a wide margin at entry. DataCops has a free plan up to 2,000 sessions and Business at $49 a month billed yearly for 50,000 sessions. Factors paid plans start at $6,000 a year, with Lite at $199 a month. They are different products, so compare what you need done, not only the invoice.
