The short answer
Attribution App tells you what worked. DataCops tells your ads what worked, with clean data, so they find more of it.
- DataCops: best for teams who want better ad results, not another report. First-party capture, bots kept out, consent built in, and booked, showed, won and paid sent to your ads.
- Hyros: best for high-spend info-product and ecommerce brands.
- Cometly: best for ad-heavy teams that want attribution plus an AI ads manager.
- Wicked Reports: best for ecommerce and subscription lifetime value.
- Dreamdata: best for B2B account-based revenue reports.
Most people who look for an Attribution App alternative start with the price. Pro is $399 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors. But the bigger question is what the tool is for. It answers "which channel deserves the credit?" That is a good question. It is just not the one that lowers your cost per sale.
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Who learns from your data?
Attribution tools report to you. You open the dashboard, see that LinkedIn drove the closed deals, and move budget. That is useful. But the ad platform itself never learned anything. Meta still thinks a form fill is a win. It keeps finding people who fill in forms.
The algorithm is the one spending your money every hour. It needs to know which clicks turned into booked calls, show-ups and paid deals. That is the job DataCops does. It sends the stage back to the ads, matched to the original click, so Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn find more buyers on their own.
To be fair, Attribution App does send "attribution-weighted conversions" back to Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft. But weighting is only as good as what went in. If bots filled the forms, if the click was lost to Safari, if consent was never checked, the model splits credit on bad data. DataCops fixes the input: first-party capture, a bot verdict on every visit, and consent before anything is sent.
A better report helps you move budget once a month. A better signal helps the ads spend it every hour.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants an attribution model for its own sake. You want five things:
- Capture every lead and sale, including the ones ad blockers and Safari hide.
- Tell the ad platforms who bought, so Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn find more buyers.
- Include the sales that happen offline, on a call, in a clinic, in your CRM.
- Keep bots out, so neither your reports nor your ads learn from fake leads.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Attribution App covers part of the first and gives you great reports about the rest. DataCops does all five. Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Attribution App
- Install the tracking snippet and connect your ad accounts.
- Connect HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive and map stages.
- Pick an attribution model and argue about it.
- Buy a separate consent banner and wire it in.
- Find a separate tool for bot traffic.
- Read the dashboard, then move budget by hand.
- Watch your visitor count, $10 per 1,000 over.
With DataCops
- Add one script and one DNS record.
- Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with one click each.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only.
- Connect HighLevel or your CRM webhook.
Then let the ads do the work. They learn from booked, showed, won and paid, not from form fills.
Attribution App gives you a map. DataCops gives the driver directions.
The real cost of a $399 tool
Attribution App Pro is $399 a month, and managed onboarding is an optional $2,500 to $5,000. The rest of the cost sits in questions nobody asks before they buy. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your attribution models, CRM stage mapping and a separate consent and bot setup before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. A dashboard that shows which channel won does not change what the ads optimise for. If Meta only receives form fills, it keeps buying form fills, and the report just tells you so, very precisely.
Knowing exactly where the money went does not bring it back. Teaching the ads does.
Why people leave Attribution App
Attribution App is a serious tool with deep models. People leave for reasons around it.
- The price starts high. $399 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors, with no free plan.
- Growth costs more. Every 1,000 visitors over the plan is $10.
- Reports do not change the algorithm. Somebody still has to read them and act.
- Bots count as visitors. We found no bot, VPN or proxy filtering on its pages, so fake traffic lands in the model and on the bill.
- No HighLevel. Agencies and clinics on HighLevel have no native path.
- Agencies pay for Custom. Multiple workspaces only come with the Custom plan.
The real difference: clean data the ads learn from
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
The stage goes back to the ads
Attribution App syncs HubSpot lifecycle and Salesforce closed-won so you can see which campaigns produced revenue. It also sends weighted conversions to some platforms. The focus is the report.
DataCops is built around the moment after the form. Install it once on your HighLevel agency and pick the clients. Leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals with their value and paid invoices go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the ad click. Any other CRM posts to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Cancellations, no-shows and lost deals are never sent. Google Ads actions are created as secondary, so nothing changes in your bidding until you choose. See offline conversions.
Every visit gets a verdict
An attribution model counts every visitor it sees. If a bot clicked your ad and filled the form, the model gives that channel credit. We found nothing about bot filtering on Attribution App's pages.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies. Turn on Real people only for a platform and about 99% of bots stay out of it. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies. One honest note: events that come from your CRM carry no bot flag. See click fraud protection.
First-party from your own subdomain
We found no first-party subdomain or server-side setup described on Attribution App's pages. DataCops runs server-side from your own subdomain with one script and one DNS record. Click IDs are kept 90 days and a visitor cookie lasts up to 400 days, which in the EU still needs consent. See server-side tracking.
Consent is built in
Attribution App's pricing page lists "consent management". We found no IAB TCF v2.2 consent manager of its own. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
You can see why each event was sent
Attribution App lets you check each number against the underlying transactions. That is strong for reporting. DataCops answers a different question: did this conversion reach Meta, and if not, why? Every conversion is a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it.
Privacy and data deletion are built in
Visitors can ask for deletion through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session is anonymised, and a status page shows what was done. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically; Google Ads deletions are a manual step. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed email and phone only. We found none of this described on Attribution App's pages.
Attribution App grades the past. DataCops cleans what goes into the future.
Offline conversions, by industry
Most businesses do not sell on the website. The money comes later, and that moment is what your ads need to learn from.
| Business | What the pixel sees | What DataCops sends to the ads |
|---|---|---|
| Clinics, dental, med spa | Booking form | Booked, showed, treatment paid |
| Home services, roofing, solar | Quote request | Estimate booked, job won with its value |
| Agencies running client ads | Form fills per client | Every client's booked, showed, won and paid |
| B2B and SaaS | Demo request, signup | Qualified lead, trial, paid, by webhook |
| Legal, finance, high-ticket services | Enquiry | Consult booked, client signed |
From HighLevel natively, or any CRM by webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. Each sale is matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- A visitor clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain.
- The lead books, shows up or buys in your CRM, days or weeks later.
- DataCops finds the original click for that lead.
- The stage goes to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, counted once, with a delivery log row for each one.
Meta health and wellness restrictions
If you advertise a clinic, a treatment or a supplement, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What gets an account restricted is the data itself: a page link that names the treatment, an event called Book_Implant_Consult, a form that sends symptoms.
With Attribution App, we found no health mode on its pages. Its job is the report, so what it sends back to Meta is yours to police.
With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only an approved field list. Page links are cut to the domain and event names go neutral, like L_1.

1. DataCops: best Attribution App alternative overall
DataCops is not a prettier dashboard. It is the tracking layer underneath: first-party capture from your subdomain, a bot verdict on every visit, a built-in consent manager, and the stages after the form sent to your ads matched to the click. Your ads stop learning from form fills and start learning from buyers.
Why people switch to it
- The ads learn from booked, showed, won and paid
- Real people only keeps bots out
- HighLevel native, any CRM by webhook
- Free plan, then $49
Worth knowing
- No multi-touch models or MMM
- Four ad platforms, no Microsoft Ads
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
Best for: teams who want the ads to get better, not just the report.

2. Hyros: best for high-spend info products
Hyros is built for brands spending heavily on ads, often info products and ecommerce. It tracks ad attribution and feeds conversions back to the ad platforms. We could not find a price: its pricing page returned an error when we checked, so plan on a sales call.
Why people switch to it
- Attribution plus feedback to the ads
- Made for high ad spend
Worth knowing
- No public price
- No built-in consent manager or bot switch stated
Best for: brands that spend big on ads and want attribution with a sales team behind it. See Hyros alternatives.

3. Cometly: best for attribution plus an AI ads manager
Cometly offers pixel and server-side tracking, multi-touch attribution and 70+ integrations, with Core and Enterprise tiers. Its pages target B2B SaaS. Price depends on pageviews and is not listed, and there is no free trial.
Why people switch to it
- Server-side tracking included
- 70+ integrations
Worth knowing
- No public price or free trial
- Priced by pageviews
Best for: teams who want attribution and an AI ads manager in one. See Cometly alternatives.

4. Wicked Reports: best for ecommerce lifetime value
Wicked Reports looks at lifetime value and cohorts, which suits subscription and repeat-purchase brands. Maximize includes its Meta CAPI "Advanced Signal". Add-ons are $199 a month each, and the price climbs with your revenue.
Why people switch to it
- Cohort and LTV reports
- Meta signal on Maximize
Worth knowing
- Starts above Attribution App Pro
- Price rises with revenue
Best for: businesses driven by repeat purchases. See Wicked Reports alternatives.

5. Dreamdata: best for B2B account-based reports
Dreamdata is the closest like-for-like swap for a B2B team. It attributes revenue to accounts, not just people, and has a free plan to start. Team, Business and Enterprise show no prices on its site.
Why people switch to it
- Account-based view
- Free plan to start
Worth knowing
- Paid prices not public
- Still a report, not a tracking layer
Best for: B2B sellers who want revenue by account. See Dreamdata alternatives.
Also worth a look in the same category: CustomerLabs, Ruler Analytics, SegMetrics, SourceLoop, Tracify, SegmentStream, Admetrics, Polar Analytics, AdBeacon and Madgicx.
What you give up with DataCops
Fair question, so here is the straight answer.
- Attribution depth. No five models, no media mix modeling, no incrementality tests, no ROAS by model.
- Fewer ad platforms. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. No Reddit, Pinterest, Quora or Microsoft Ads.
- Fewer native connectors. No native Salesforce, Pipedrive, Stripe or warehouse export. Other CRMs go by webhook.
- Richer dashboards. If your board wants multi-touch charts and creative analytics, Attribution App shows more.
Many teams run both: DataCops for clean data and ad feedback, an attribution tool for the reports.
Moving from Attribution App
- Add DataCops next to it. One script and one DNS record. Leave Attribution App running.
- Connect the same ad accounts, but send each conversion from one place only, so nothing counts twice.
- Connect your CRM (HighLevel or your webhook) and switch on Real people only.
- Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: match quality, conversions, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Decide whether you still need the reports. If not, cancel at the end of the cycle.
How to choose an Attribution App alternative
- Ask who needs to learn. If it is you, pick an attribution tool. If it is the ads, pick DataCops.
- Check where your sales close. In a CRM or on a call? The stage has to reach the ads.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your forms, every model downstream is wrong.
- Count your platforms. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn? DataCops covers them.
- Price it at your size. $399 for 10,000 visitors against free up to 2,000 sessions, then $49.
Stay with Attribution App if
- You need multi-touch models, MMM or incrementality tests.
- You rely on Salesforce, Stripe or warehouse connectors.
- You advertise on Reddit, Pinterest, Quora or Microsoft Ads.
Pick DataCops if
- You want Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn to learn who actually buys.
- Your sales close after the form: a booking, a visit, a signed deal.
- You run HighLevel, fight bot traffic, or want a free plan to start.
Every DataCops product mentioned here
- Offline conversions: CRM sales and stages back to your ads.
- HighLevel conversion tracking and DataCops for agencies.
- Server-side tracking and the no-GTM alternative.
- Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, TikTok Events API, LinkedIn Conversions API.
- Click fraud protection, SignupCops and first-party analytics.
- Consent manager, Ads Warmup and health mode.
Attribution App alternatives: FAQ
What is the best Attribution App alternative?
If you want the same kind of multi-touch reports, Dreamdata for B2B accounts or Wicked Reports for ecommerce lifetime value. If what you really want is better ad results, DataCops: it collects first-party, keeps bots out, checks consent, and sends booked, showed, won and paid back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn matched to the click, so the ads learn who buys.
How much does Attribution App cost?
On attributionapp.com/pricing, checked September 2026: Pro is $399 a month for up to 10,000 tracked visitors, with $10 per 1,000 visitors over. Shopify is $199 a month with custom limits. Custom is price on request. Annual billing saves 16%, and both paid plans have a 14-day trial. There is no free plan.
Is DataCops an attribution tool?
Not in the same sense. DataCops does not build multi-touch models or media mix models. It is the tracking layer: it captures the click on your own domain, puts a bot verdict on every visit, checks consent, and sends conversions and CRM stages to the ad platforms. Attribution tells you who deserves credit. DataCops makes sure the ads learn from real buyers.
Does Attribution App send conversions back to ad platforms?
Yes. Its site says it sends attribution-weighted conversions back to Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft. DataCops sends the actual stage (lead, booked, showed, won with value, paid) to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, matched to the click, with a delivery log row for each one.
Does Attribution App filter bots?
We found nothing on its pages about bot, datacenter, VPN or proxy filtering. DataCops puts a verdict on every visit, and with Real people only switched on for a platform it keeps about 99% of bots out of that platform. The switch is off by default.
Does Attribution App work with HighLevel?
We found no HighLevel integration. Its CRM list is HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. DataCops installs once on a HighLevel agency, you pick the clients, and leads, booked calls, show-ups, won deals and paid invoices go to each client's ads.
Is DataCops cheaper than Attribution App?
Yes, at every entry point we could compare. DataCops is free up to 2,000 sessions, Business is $49 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly) for 50,000 sessions, Organization is $299 and agency plans start at $199. Attribution App Pro is $399 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors. The units differ: a DataCops session is one visit, like in Google Analytics, and Attribution App counts tracked visitors.
Which ad platforms does DataCops send to?
Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Attribution App connects to more, including Reddit, Pinterest, Quora and Microsoft Ads. If those matter to you, that is a real reason to keep it.
Can I use DataCops and Attribution App together?
Yes. They do different jobs. Keep Attribution App for the reports and models, and let DataCops handle collection, bots, consent and delivery of CRM stages to the ads. Just make sure each conversion is sent to a platform from one place only.
