The short answer
Aimerce moves your store events to the server. DataCops decides which visits deserve to reach your ads, and adds the sales that never touch the checkout.
- DataCops: best overall for most stores. Paid orders server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, a bot verdict on every visit, consent built in. From free.
- Littledata: best for clean GA4 and subscription data.
- Elevar: best for larger brands running server-side GTM.
- TrackBee: best for EU brands with several stores.
- Analyzify: best for GA4 and GTM set up for you.
Most people look for an Aimerce alternative because of the price. Aimerce starts at $299 a month, before any order over 1,000. For a store doing a few hundred orders, that is a big line for tracking alone.
But the price is only half of it. Every Shopify tracking app now sends orders from the server. That part is solved. The question is what else the app does for your ad money.
Is a Shopify tracking app enough?
A Shopify tracking app does one job: it takes store events and sends them to ad platforms from a server, so ad blockers and Safari do not lose them. Aimerce does this well, and adds a long-lived visitor ID on top.
DataCops is the tracking solution for ad-funded businesses: it keeps bots out of what your ads learn from and sends the sale that happens after the form to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. It does that job too. The DataCops Shopify app sends every paid order as a Purchase to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn from Shopify's own order webhook, Shop Pay and Apple Pay included. Its Web Pixel adds the steps before: add to cart, checkout, payment info and search.
Then it keeps going where a tracking app stops:
- Which visits count. Every visit gets a bot verdict. Switch on Real people only for a platform and bot traffic never reaches it.
- Whether you may send it. A consent manager is built in. Events wait for consent.
- What happened to each event. A delivery log row per platform: sent, held, skipped or failed, with the reason.
- Sales off the checkout. Phone orders, invoices and deals in a CRM arrive by webhook and go to your ads, matched to the click.
Think of it as a chain. A click lands, a visitor browses, consent is asked, an order is paid, maybe a phone call closes a bigger sale, and only then does an ad platform learn something. Aimerce owns one link in that chain: moving the store event to the server. DataCops is built to own the whole chain, from the click to what your ads learn.
| Link in the chain | Aimerce | DataCops |
|---|---|---|
| Paid order sent server-side | Yes | Yes, from Shopify's order webhook |
| Is this visit a real person? | Bot filtering named, no per-platform switch found | Verdict per visit, Real people only per platform |
| Did the shopper consent? | Bring your own banner | Built-in consent manager |
| Did the event arrive? | Check each platform | Delivery log row with the reason |
| Sales made on the phone | Not built in | Webhook from any CRM, HighLevel native |
To be fair, the other direction holds too. Aimerce reaches more places (Pinterest, Snapchat and more), goes deeper on Klaviyo, and has Shopify-specific reports like attribution and user journeys on Growth. If those are the job, it does them and DataCops does not. Full detail on our side is on the Shopify CAPI page.
A tracking app moves your orders. A tracking solution decides what your ads learn from.
What's your actual goal?
Nobody wants a tracking app for its own sake. You want five things:
- Count every paid order, including the ones ad blockers and express checkouts hide.
- Send them to your ad platforms, so they learn who buys.
- Include the sales made off the site, on the phone or by invoice.
- Keep bots out, so your ads do not chase fake traffic.
- Stay compliant, with consent checked and data deleted on request.
Here is the same goal, done both ways.
The traditional way, with Aimerce
- Install the Aimerce app on Shopify.
- Turn on server-side tracking and connect each platform.
- Buy a consent banner from another vendor.
- Hope the bot filtering is enough, with no switch per platform.
- Find another tool for phone and invoice sales.
- Watch your order count against the plan, $0.10 per order over it.
- Repeat the whole thing for any site that is not on Shopify.
With DataCops
- Install the DataCops Shopify app.
- Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with one click each.
- Switch on the consent manager.
- Switch on Real people only where you want it.
- Point your CRM or phone sales at a private webhook.
Then run your store. Paid orders and click IDs are handled for you.
Aimerce sends your orders. DataCops sends the right ones, and the ones your checkout never saw.
The real cost of a $299 tool
Aimerce is $299 a month to start, plus $0.10 for every order past 1,000. That is on the invoice. What is not on the invoice sits in the questions below. Answer them with your own numbers.
How many hours will it take to build your consent banner, bot rules and a separate setup for phone and CRM sales before the first sale is tracked?
How many hours a month will someone spend keeping it working when Meta, Google or TikTok change something?
If a tag breaks quietly for a week, how many leads never reach your ads? And what is one lead worth to you?
How many sales a month close in your CRM that your ads never hear about?
The last question matters most. If bot visits and fake carts reach Meta, Meta goes looking for more of them. Cost per sale climbs and nothing in the dashboard tells you why.
Cheap data is the most expensive line in your ad budget. It just does not send you the invoice.
Why people leave Aimerce
Aimerce does its core job. People leave for reasons around it.
- The entry price. $299 a month before you pass 1,000 orders. There is no free plan.
- You pay per order. Past the plan, every order costs extra, so a good month costs more.
- Shopify only. A landing page, a second brand on another platform or a lead form site needs another tool.
- No per-platform bot switch. We found bot filtering named, but no way to keep flagged visits out of one platform.
- No consent manager shown. You bring your own.
- Nothing past the checkout. Phone orders and CRM deals do not reach your ads through it.
The real difference: what reaches your ads
Here is what that means in practice, one job at a time.
Every paid order, sent from Shopify itself
Both tools send your orders from the server. DataCops takes the paid order from Shopify's own order webhook, which fires for every paid order, Shop Pay and Apple Pay included.
Every visit gets a verdict
Aimerce's App Store listing names bot filtering. We found no detail on how it works and no per-platform switch on its site.
DataCops checks every visit for bots, datacenter traffic, VPNs and proxies (see click fraud protection). Turn on Real people only for Meta and flagged visits never reach Meta. It is off by default, so you choose where it applies. With it on, about 99% of bots are kept out.
Consent is built in
No consent manager is shown on Aimerce's pricing page, so plan for a banner from another vendor. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, served from your own domain. Website events wait for consent before they are sent.
Returning shoppers are remembered
Aimerce's Durable ID recognises a visitor for a year and links devices. DataCops remembers returning shoppers for up to 400 days from your own subdomain, and sends Viewed Product, Added to Cart and Started Checkout to Klaviyo so flows fire for shoppers Klaviyo forgot. Call memory a draw. One rule for both: in the EU a long-lived ID needs consent, and DataCops waits for consent. Aimerce goes further on cross-device linking and on Klaviyo revenue features.
You can see why each event was sent
We found no per-event log with reasons on Aimerce's site. DataCops writes every conversion as a row per platform (sent, held, skipped or failed) with the reason next to it. When Meta shows fewer sales than Shopify, you open the row instead of guessing.
Not only Shopify
Aimerce is Shopify only. DataCops runs the same way on any site with one script and one DNS record. Your lead form site, your booking page and your store share one dashboard. Agencies see every client on one login, up to 100 sites per client.
Privacy and data deletion are built in
Visitors can ask to be deleted through a form on your privacy page: they confirm by email, their session data is anonymised, and a status page shows the request. Deletion requests from Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn are acted on automatically. Click IDs, sessions and the click log are deleted after 90 days, and the identity store holds hashed emails and phones only. Google Ads deletions stay a manual step. We found no such tooling on Aimerce's site.
Aimerce tells your ads what sold. DataCops also tells them who was real.
Offline sales: the orders your checkout never sees
Plenty of stores take money off the site: a phone order, a wholesale invoice, a custom quote, a payment plan. A Shopify tracking app only sees the checkout. DataCops takes those sales by webhook and sends them to your ads, matched to the click.
| Store | What the checkout sees | What DataCops adds |
|---|---|---|
| High-ticket stores that sell on the phone | A call or a quote request | The phone order, with its value |
| Furniture, fitness gear, custom work | Checkout started, then abandoned | The order paid later by invoice |
| Wholesale and B2B | An account signup | The first paid invoice |
| Stores on payment plans or credit | An application | The order that was actually approved and paid |
Any CRM by private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n. HighLevel natively. Each sale is matched to the ad click by click ID or hashed email and phone.
- A shopper clicks your ad. DataCops keeps the click ID on your own domain for 90 days.
- They buy on the phone or pay an invoice days later.
- Your CRM posts the sale to your DataCops webhook.
- DataCops finds the click by click ID or hashed email and phone and sends the sale to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn, counted once.
See offline conversions for the full picture.
Meta health and wellness restrictions
If your store sells supplements, skincare or anything health related, Meta may restrict the events it accepts from you. What gets an account restricted is usually the data itself: the product link names the condition, the event carries the product title.
With Aimerce, we found no health mode on its site. Keeping that data out is on you.
With DataCops, you switch on health mode. It sends only an approved field list and blocks everything else. Page links are cut to your domain and event names go neutral, so Lead becomes L_1.
Read more on Meta health and wellness restrictions.
Setup, step by step, side by side
Both install as Shopify apps. The difference is what you still have to add yourself.
| The job | With Aimerce | |
|---|---|---|
| Send orders server-side | Install the app, turn on server-side tracking. | Install the DataCops Shopify app. Paid orders come from Shopify's order webhook. |
| Connect ad platforms | Connect each platform in the app, more destinations to pick from. | Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with one click each. |
| Handle consent | No consent manager shown. Add a banner from another vendor. | Switch on the built-in consent manager (IAB TCF v2.2). |
| Keep bots out of one platform | No per-platform switch found. | Switch on Real people only for that platform. |
| Send a phone or invoice sale | Not built in. | Post it to your private webhook, or connect HighLevel. |
| Track a site that is not Shopify | Not supported. | One script and one DNS record. |
| Find out why a conversion is missing | Check the platform's own tools. | Open the delivery log row. The reason is next to it. |
"15 minutes to get server-side tracking live. After 3 days failing with another app and a DIY server-side Google Tag Manager, that alone sold me. Then support jumped on a Google Meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to finish the job."Andrew Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer, Zeald

1. DataCops: best Aimerce alternative overall
DataCops does the core Aimerce job: every paid Shopify order goes server-side to your ads, express checkouts included. Then it adds what a tracking app leaves out. A bot verdict on every visit, a consent manager, a delivery log with reasons, and phone or CRM sales sent back to your ads.
Why people switch to it
- A free plan and a far lower entry price
- Real people only keeps bots out of each platform
- Consent manager included
- Works on sites beyond Shopify
Worth knowing
- Four ad platforms, no Pinterest or Snapchat
- Lighter Klaviyo features than Aimerce
- Real people only is off until you switch it on
Best for: stores that want their ads to learn from real buyers, not just more events.

2. Littledata: best for GA4 and subscription data
Littledata sends Shopify data to GA4, Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo, TikTok and Pinterest. Its strength is clean GA4 data and subscription orders. Flex has no minimum, which suits small stores. The per-order price climbs fast as you grow.
Why people switch to it
- Strong GA4 feed
- Pay-as-you-go plan
Worth knowing
- Per-order pricing
- No per-platform bot switch or consent manager found
Best for: stores where GA4 and subscriptions matter most. Compare it with our Littledata alternatives.

3. Elevar: best for large brands on server-side GTM
Elevar is built for bigger Shopify brands that want server-side GTM done properly. Plans limit both orders and destinations, so the price rises with each platform you add. Its 15-day trial is shorter than most here.
Why people switch to it
- Deep GTM control
- Many destinations on higher plans
Worth knowing
- Destinations capped per plan
- $0.50 per order over on Core
Best for: brands with a GTM person and a large store. See our Elevar alternatives.

4. TrackBee: best for EU multi-store owners
TrackBee prices by tracked revenue and covers several stores per plan, with 19 integrations and a 30-day trial with no card. That suits EU brands running more than one shop.
Why people switch to it
- Several stores per plan
- 19 integrations
Worth knowing
- Price tied to revenue, so it rises as you grow
- No per-platform bot switch found
Best for: owners of several EU stores. See our TrackBee alternatives.

5. Analyzify: best for GA4 and GTM set up for you
Analyzify sets up GA4 and GTM on your Shopify store for you. It is more about analytics than about feeding your ads, so it fits teams that live in GA4. Check its pricing page for the current monthly and yearly figures.
Why people switch to it
- GA4 and GTM done for you
- Order ranges fit big stores
Worth knowing
- You still own a GTM setup
- No per-platform bot switch found
Best for: stores whose main goal is GA4 reporting.
What you give up with DataCops
Fair question, so here is the straight answer.
- Fewer destinations. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. No Pinterest, Snapchat or GA4 feed.
- Lighter Klaviyo. DataCops sends browse, cart and checkout events for flows. Aimerce's Revenue Amplifier goes deeper.
- Less Shopify-only depth. No headless support claimed, no Shopify attribution or user journey reports like Aimerce's Growth plan, no cross-device linking like Durable ID.
- No dedicated CSM with an SLA. Aimerce offers one on its higher plans.
If none of those matter to you, you lose nothing you use.
Moving from Aimerce without losing tracking
- Install the DataCops Shopify app next to Aimerce.
- Connect the same ad accounts, but send each conversion from one place only, so nothing counts twice.
- Compare for two weeks in Meta Events Manager and Google Ads: purchases, match quality, and what DataCops skipped as bots.
- Add your phone or CRM sales by webhook.
- Remove Aimerce when the numbers look right, before your next billing date.
How to choose an Aimerce alternative
- Count your destinations. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn? DataCops covers them. Pinterest or Snapchat? Look at Littledata or Elevar.
- Look at your traffic. If bots fill your carts, you want a switch per platform.
- Check where your sales close. If some close on the phone or by invoice, you need them sent back to your ads.
- Price your real volume. Per-order pricing grows with every good month. Do the maths for your busiest one.
Stay with Aimerce if
- You need Pinterest, Snapchat or deep Klaviyo revenue features.
- You run headless Shopify or need cross-device linking.
- You want a dedicated CSM with an SLA and the price is fine.
Pick DataCops if
- You want paid orders server-side for a fraction of $299 a month.
- You want bots kept out of each ad platform and consent built in.
- Some sales happen off the site, or you run sites beyond Shopify.

Aimerce alternatives: FAQ
What is the best Aimerce alternative?
For most Shopify stores that want paid orders sent server-side to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn with bots kept out, DataCops, from free and $49 a month billed yearly. For clean GA4 and subscription data, Littledata. For big brands on server-side GTM, Elevar. For EU multi-store owners, TrackBee. For GA4 set up for you, Analyzify.
How much does Aimerce cost?
On aimerce.ai/pricing, checked September 2026: Essential $299 a month with 1,000 orders, then $0.10 per order. Growth $499 a month with 10,000 orders, then $0.05. Enterprise $1,799 a month with 50,000 orders, then $0.03. There is a 30-day free trial and no free plan.
Does Aimerce work outside Shopify?
No. Its pricing page lists Shopify as the only platform. DataCops works on Shopify through its Shopify app and on any other site with one script and one DNS record.
Does Aimerce filter bots?
Its Shopify App Store listing mentions bot filtering. We found no per-visit verdict for datacenter, VPN and proxy traffic and no per-platform switch on its site. DataCops puts a verdict on every visit and, with Real people only on for a platform, keeps flagged visits out of it. It is off by default.
Does Aimerce include a consent manager?
None is shown on its pricing page. DataCops includes a first-party consent manager built on IAB TCF v2.2, and website events wait for consent before they are sent.
Does DataCops send Shopify orders to Pinterest or Snapchat?
No. Shopify orders go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn. Aimerce also sends to Pinterest, Snapchat and more, so it wins on reach.
Does DataCops work with Klaviyo?
Yes, for flows. DataCops sends Viewed Product, Added to Cart and Started Checkout to Klaviyo from its server and remembers returning shoppers for up to 400 days, so flows fire for shoppers Klaviyo forgot. Orders keep coming from Shopify's own Klaviyo app. Aimerce goes deeper on Klaviyo with its Revenue Amplifier.
Are Shop Pay and Apple Pay orders tracked by DataCops?
Yes. The paid order comes from Shopify's order webhook, which fires for every paid order however the shopper checked out.
Is DataCops cheaper than Aimerce?
Yes at small and mid size. DataCops is free up to 2,000 sessions and Business is $49 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly) for 50,000 sessions. Aimerce starts at $299 a month. The units differ: Aimerce counts orders, DataCops counts sessions (one visit, like Google Analytics, with a new session after 30 minutes of no activity).
Can DataCops send sales that happen on the phone?
Yes. Any CRM can post the sale to a private webhook, directly or through Zapier, Make or n8n, and DataCops matches it to the ad click by email or phone. HighLevel is connected natively.
