About

About DataCops

DataCops is a first-party tracking and bot detection platform that validates every conversion before it reaches Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn, for marketers and agencies running paid ads.

Most ad accounts learn from bad data. Analytics tools miss the visitors that ad blockers hide, consent banners fail to load in privacy browsers, and bots send fake conversions that retrain the ad algorithm to find more bots. DataCops replaces that chain with one script served from your own domain.

What DataCops does

First-party analytics

The DataCops script loads from your own subdomain, so ad blockers and privacy browsers stop it far less often than third-party tags. On DataCops' own sites, it counted about 41,200 real visitors in the same period that Google Analytics reported about 32,400.

Advanced bot detection

Every session gets a verdict, human or bot, with the reason and a confidence score. DataCops catches the bots that act like people: headless and automated browsers, VPN, proxy, Tor and data-center traffic. Its own IP intelligence covers more than 360 billion addresses.

Conversions API, without a container

DataCops sends clean, server-side conversions to Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and more, with the original ad click attached. There is no tag manager to build and no server to host.

Offline and pipeline conversions

Ads usually learn from the form fill. DataCops reads the later stages from your CRM, booked, showed, won and paid, and sends each one back to the ad platforms with its real value.

First-party consent

The DataCops consent banner loads from your own domain, so privacy browsers do not block it, and it is registered with IAB under TCF v2.2. It can also read the choice from a banner you already use.

What makes DataCops different

Five minutes instead of 40 to 80 hours

Server-side Google Tag Manager needs a hosted container and hand-built triggers, and teams often estimate 40 to 80 hours of setup. DataCops is one DNS record and one script.

It catches bots that act like people

Cloudflare works at the network edge and cannot see how a visitor behaves on the page. DataCops checks each session inside the browser, then sends confirmed bot IPs back to Cloudflare to be blocked.

It counts visitors who decline, anonymously

Google Analytics records nothing after a visitor rejects cookies. Fathom and Plausible count visitors but identify no one, so they cannot separate a buyer from a bot. DataCops counts everyone anonymously and identifies people only with consent.

Only real, qualified conversions train your ads

A tag manager fires the moment a form is submitted and cannot wait. DataCops can hold a lead until your CRM marks it qualified, then send it with the original click ID, so the algorithm learns from revenue, not form fills.

EU-hosted and first-party by design

Tracking data is collected from your own domain and processed on EU servers in France.

Who uses DataCops

The team behind DataCops

Simul Sarker, founder. Simul spent four years studying why web measurement breaks: analytics that undercount, consent banners that do not load, and bots that retrain ad algorithms. DataCops began as a tool to show ad fraud to clients and grew into the system built to fix it. His findings are published in the DataCops white paper.

DataCops Ltd is registered in England and Wales and headquartered in London.

Frequently asked questions

What is DataCops?

DataCops is a first-party tracking and bot detection platform. It counts real visitors from your own domain, filters bots, and sends only verified conversions to Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and other ad platforms.

Is DataCops a UK company?

Yes. DataCops Ltd is a private company registered in England and Wales, company number 16891252, incorporated on 4 December 2025, with its registered office in London. Tracking data is processed and stored on EU servers in France.

Do I need a developer to set up DataCops?

No. Setup is one DNS record and one script, and most sites are live in about five minutes. There is no tag manager container and no server to host.

How is DataCops different from server-side Google Tag Manager?

Server-side GTM gives you a container to build and host, which teams often estimate at 40 to 80 hours. DataCops is a finished system: first-party collection, bot filtering and delivery to every ad platform, with no container.

How is DataCops different from Cloudflare bot protection?

Cloudflare works at the network edge and cannot see how a visitor behaves on the page. DataCops checks each session inside the browser, where bots that act like people give themselves away. The two can work together: DataCops sends confirmed bot IPs back to Cloudflare to be blocked.

Does DataCops track visitors who decline cookies?

Visitors who decline are counted anonymously, with no user ID and no fingerprint. Full tracking only starts after consent. DataCops works with your existing cookie banner or its own first-party, IAB TCF v2.2 registered banner.

Who is DataCops for?

Lead-gen agencies, health and wellness clinics, e-commerce brands, B2B SaaS teams and performance marketers who spend on paid ads and need conversions they can trust.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. DataCops has a free plan, and paid Business, Organization and Enterprise plans billed monthly or yearly.
