Brevo integration
Brevo can only see a contact who logs in, clicks a Brevo email, or fills a Brevo form, so most of your buyers are invisible to it. DataCops identifies them server-side and sends the real, verified contact and event straight into Brevo, so you can actually reach the people you were missing, and keep the bot dead-weight that gets accounts suspended off your list. One-click connect, no code.
What it is
This connects DataCops to Brevo and feeds it the contacts and events Brevo's own tracker never sees. DataCops identifies the shopper server-side, confirms the email is real and the person is not a bot, records the opt-in, attaches the journey, and creates the contact in Brevo, then the event, so nothing is silently dropped.Brevo is your email and SMS engine, but it can only market to contacts it knows about. What makes DataCops different is that it identifies people Brevo's browser tracker misses, and lets only verified, consented, real contacts through. Your campaigns run against real people you could not reach before, not junk.
Why most of your buyers are invisible to Brevo
Brevo's tracker can only put a name to a visitor in three cases: they logged in, they clicked through from a Brevo email, or they filled a form Brevo itself hosts. Everyone else, most of your traffic, is invisible to it. So a first-time shopper who buys, or a returning customer who came in from an ad, simply is not a contact Brevo can act on. On top of that:
- Your real buyers never get added. The visitor bought, but because they did not arrive through a Brevo email or form, Brevo never learned who they were, so no welcome, no receipt flow, no follow-up.
- Bot dead-weight builds up. When you do add contacts in bulk, bots and disposable emails come with them, dragging your open and click rates down.
- Low engagement gets you suspended. Brevo watches account engagement, and a list weighed down by contacts who never open, many of them never real, is exactly what triggers a low-engagement account suspension.
- Bounces wreck deliverability. Every dead or mistyped address that does get emailed bounces, and bounces tell inbox providers you are a risky sender.
The problem is that Brevo cannot see most of your buyers, and cannot tell the real ones from the bots. DataCops fixes both before Brevo ever sees the contact.
How DataCops builds each contact
A DataCops contact is not a raw signup. It is verified and enriched before it is synced, so what reaches Brevo is a real, reachable person who agreed to hear from you.- Email verification confirms the address is real. Disposable, mistyped, and undeliverable emails are caught before they become a contact, so your bounce rate stays low.
- The fraud verdict confirms the person is real. Bot and fake signups are stopped here, so they never reach your list.
- The first-party capture and durable identity see who Brevo cannot. DataCops identifies the shopper on your own domain, without needing them to click a Brevo email or fill a Brevo form, and joins their first touch, campaign, and behaviour to one contact. This is what turns your invisible buyers into contacts Brevo can market to.
- The consent gate records the opt-in. Whether the person agreed to email or SMS is written onto the contact, so you only ever message where you are allowed.
Because Brevo is your own marketing tool, the contact details are synced as normal readable fields, not hashed. Hashing is only for ad platforms; your ESP needs the real email to send.
What gets synced to Brevo
DataCops always creates the contact in Brevo first, then the event, so nothing is silently dropped for an unknown contact. Each contact arrives complete, so your automations and lists have real data to work with:
| Synced | What it gives your campaigns | Where DataCops gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Email, name, and phone, so the contact is ready for your campaigns the moment it lands. | The signup, confirmed real before it is synced |
| Events | Real actions like signed up, viewed, or purchased, so your automations fire on genuine behaviour. | First-party capture and your store |
| Full journey | First touch, the campaign that drove them, and what they saw, so you can segment on real source. | 400-day durable identity |
| Consent state | Whether the person opted in to email or SMS, so you only ever message where you are allowed. | The consent gate |
Events are sent as real actions, so a welcome automation fires on a genuine signup, not on a bot. Duplicates are matched, so the same person is never created twice.
Only real, opted-in contacts
A contact only reaches Brevo if it passed the email check, passed the fraud verdict, and carries a marketing opt-in. You can hold a contact until it is verified before it is ever synced, so a bot that fills your form never triggers a single send. This is what protects the one thing an email programme cannot buy back easily: your sender reputation.
Connect in one click
This is the whole setup. No code, no developer, no manual list mapping.
Connect Brevo
Log in to Brevo once from DataCops. That is the only permission step.
Choose your list and events
Pick the Brevo list new contacts join and which events you want sent.
Map your fields
In Event Manager, map the contact and journey fields to Brevo attributes, one time.
From then on, every clean, opted-in contact is built and synced to Brevo automatically.
Why your email gets better
- You reach buyers you were missing. The customers Brevo's tracker never saw, first-time shoppers, ad-click buyers, are now real contacts you can send a receipt, a welcome, or a follow-up to.
- Your account stays in good standing. A list of real, engaged contacts instead of bot dead-weight keeps your engagement up and away from a low-engagement suspension.
- Your deliverability holds. No disposable or mistyped emails means fewer bounces and a sender reputation that keeps you in the inbox.
- Your bill drops. You stop paying Brevo for dead contacts, because they never get created.
